A one-minute CGI film for Slush 2024, “Metamorphosis – A call for radical transformation”, telling the story of opposing forces that spark change both in nature and in society.

APPROACH

Art direction, project management and graphic design, and performing in the film, combining volumetric capture and CGI with Oscar Bäckerman (CGI & sound) and producer Kirmo Manninen.

RESULT

Shown at Slush 2024: a world in a constant process of becoming, where a single radically positive idea can offer a new lens on what it means to be human.

“Metamorphosis – A call for radical transformation” is a film where we used volumetric capture and CGI to tell the story of opposing forces that spark change both in nature and in society.

It’s a story of a world that’s in a constant process of its own becoming, where a gentle flap of wings can lead to a storm, just like a single, radically positive idea has the potential to provide us with a new lens on what it means to be human.
